I've forgotten my password. How can I login?
If you can't remember your password, you can request it.

  1. by typing in and submitting your email address under 'Forgot/Obtain your Password' in the 'My Account' section of this website. Upon verification, we will email you back your account login details, or
  2. by phoning us on 01883 714800 between the hours of 9.30 am - 5.30 pm, Monday to Friday.

I have not been recieving my Daily EBN email?
If you have not been getting the EBN daily email please check the following:

  1. check your spam folder in your email software.
  2. login to your email account online and check it is not in the spam folder.
    If it is, mark it as NOT SPAM.
  3. Add the following details to to email address book:
    ebn1@bloodstocknews.eu
    ebn@emailbloodstocknews.eu
  4. Have your IT team add the following to the server whitelist:
    ebn1@bloodstocknews.eu
    ebn@emailbloodstocknews.eu
    mail.bloodstocknews.eu
    IP: 109.228.30.244
  5. Speak to your email provider or check your provider support for further solutions.

How can I subscribe?
You can subscribe by going to our home page, clicking on the 'Subscribe to EBN' panel and completing the form, or by phoning us on 01883 714800 between the hours of 9.30 am - 5.30 pm, Monday to Friday.

What do I get for being a subscriber?

  1. You get EBN emailed to you daily, straight to your inbox, enabling you to open the pdf file on your desk computer, iPad, iPhone, Blackberry or Android.
  2. You can use our own online 'Page Turn' application to look through back issues.
  3. You can word search back issues going back to 2006.
  4. You are able to search the current year's Winners Abroad section online by Winner, Sire, Dam and Breeder.
  5. You are able to search the current year's Stakes Race results section online (Under Construction).
  6. You can access our comprehensive 2011 Bloodstock Sales section, where you can search sales results or browse future catalogues, including entry closing dates, where known.

How do I access past issues, Winners Abroad and Stakes Race results?
These are privileges only accorded to subscribers — login to your account and the MyAccount screen has visual links to these areas.

How do I receive EBN?
EBN is sent out by email.

Can I download an issue online?
Yes you can, as long as you are a current subscriber.

Can EBN be read on an iPhone or iPad, Blackberry and Android?
Yes.

Can I have a trial subscription before I commit?
Yes, if you click on the link from the home page called 'Free Trial Issues' and complete and submit the form, the next 14 issues of EBN to be sent to you. Please note that only one free trial per person or company is permissable.

I'm going away for a few days and would like EBN sent to a different email address. How can I arrange this?

  1. You can login to your account on this site and update your own email address.
  2. You can phone us on 01883 714800 during the week and we will take the relevant details.
  3. You can email doug@thoroughbred-advertising.co.uk with the following information
    a) Your current email address
    b) The new email address you'd like EBN to be sent to.
    c) The start and end dates of this redirection.

How should I supply my advert?
Adverts should be supplied in a PDF format to the following specifications:
An Acrobat 4 PDF version 1.3 file. With all fonts embedded (not True Type fonts) and with all images at 300dpi in CMYK colour mode (no pantone colours).

If the advert is supplied using pantone/special colours or contains Truetype fonts we cannot guarantee the outcome. If you have any doubts about these specifications, please supply the advert early and we will check it for you.

Can my advert have bleed?
No. All advertisments should conform to the specifications shown on the ratecard or the publishers accept no responsibility for their reproduction. Material positioned outside the stated area will not appear in the digitally printed issues at the sales.

What is the deadline for sending in adverts?
Pre-booked adverts need to be e-mailed to: sophie@thoroughbred-advertising.co.uk by 3.00pm (GMT) on the day before the publication.
